Blog
Hello there! Welcome to our Blog! I’m hoping to post here at least semi-regularly to kind of give a little insight into the inner workings here at Liquid Sunshine Studios. While it may seem like it’s all fun and games on our end, it’s really a LOT of work to keep this business running smoothly! Like today. I probably spent waaay too much time on computer and paperwork, and updating this website then actual order work. And that happens sometimes. As much as we try and schedule out a day, things happen we can’t expect, and we have to adjust as the day goes by. Still keeping our self-imposed deadlines and rigorous work schedule of course. Today in terms of workshop stuff, we finished the silicone layer of our new head base! So so excited to share the first suit we create from this base with you, and finally introduce our new look for 2019! So that’s fun. Also got a chance to pattern out and cut out all the fuzzy bits for a Vaporeon tail! My inner poke-geek is screaming at the chance to make another Pokémon! Our very first Pokémon suit was a Zorua back in 2017! Fun fact about our orders, all large parts, like heads, partials and fullsuits get a doodle done on their box when they get shipped out, just to put my little personal mark on them and make the customer smile. Here’s a picture of Squish’s doodle, as he goes home tomorrow! I really can’t express enough how grateful I am for the outpouring of enthusiastic support for our work over the past holiday season and into this year. It was really scary making the decision to start doing this full time, and I couldn’t have done it without my strong support system, my furry family, and my real family! So far all is smooth sailing, thanks to all my lovely customers. I can definitely say I am beyond excited for all the work that will be done this year and looking forward to growing as an artist, and as a person. This job is literally the BEST thing to happen to me, and I will continue to strive for the best experience for my customers, and the best quality product I can produce.
With that, I’ll say bye bye for now, all these adorable fuzzy babies won’t make themselves! But I’ll hopefully be back with another post in a week or two. To any upcoming fursuit maker’s or artists reading this, know it will always be hard when it’s worth doing. Don’t give up, keep trying new things and improving, and don’t let the naysayers get you down. Giving up is easy, keeping at it is the hard part! ~Elbianna Pua
